I broke a tooth on Saturday night. I stopped in on Monday morning to make an appointment. They asked if I could wait so they could have someone look at it, Dr. Conte fixed it right then.

West Shore Dental is AMAZING! I have been a patient for years and due to them not being in network with Delta Dental anymore I had to find a new dentist and that did not go well for me. I called West shore and they were able to get me right back in and help me. I will pay the difference just to know I am being taken care of and feel so calm. I am a super nervous person about any type of dental work and they are so good at keeping me calm and walking me through any process. Dr Conte and hygienist Mary are the absolute best. I couldn’t recommend this place more. All of the staff are fabulous and so so friendly!

I had a 32 year old veneer that chipped. Dr Conte and his staff made a quick work to match a beautiful new veneer in place that was made right there at their office so there was no second visit. They took great care of me and the communication was wonderful as to what they were doing and how the visit was proceeding. I would highly recommend them.

I had West Shore Dental Associates install two crowns on two of my back teeth on the same side. One upper and one lower tooth had cracked and broken after bitting a popcorn kernel. About half of the upper tooth was missing and a third of the lower tooth was missing. I had been putting this off for several years but finally decided to have them fixed. Dr. Johnson was the dentist who did it. He was assisted by Dave. The last time I had a crown done at a DIFFERENT dentist office, it was a lengthy procedure with multiple trips back for fittings, temporary crowns etc. It was also a bit painfull during and after the procedure. Dr. Johnson got both teeth completely done in about three hours. They got me into the chair about five min. after my scheduled appointment time and Dave the assistant prepped me for the novocaine and explained a bit about what he was doing during the prep. Dr. Johnson came in several minutes later and generally explained the process and proceeded with a quick exam to plan things out a bit. Dr. Johnson numbed me up and told me exactly what he was doing while he was doing it. When he wasn't talking to me, he and Dave were casually talking about sports or the olympics. That kind of put me at ease. When he and Dave weren't chit chatting, Dr. Johnson was singing to the music playing quietly in the background or explaining exactly what he was doing. Again, pretty relaxing and calming. During the procedure which involved quite a bit of drilling and shaping of both broken teeth, Dave seemed to know exactly what Dr. Johnson needed most of the time without being told what to do. Suction here light there etc. After the drilling was done they told me it would be about 45 min. to create the new crowns which was done right at the office. Dave offered to show me the crowns being created once the process got going and he did and he explained the process used for creating them. About 45 min. later Dr. Johnson returned and fitted the crowns adjusting a bit here and that took about 15 min maybe 20. After I got home and the novocaine wore off I expected to be in pain for several days but I really wasn't in much pain at all. I took a couple of Tylenol and that pretty much took care of it. The next day There was almost no pain just some soreness where the novocaine injections were. But the teeth felt absolutely fabulous! No more sharp edges from the two broken teeth! Absolutely the best dentist and dentist office.

I went yesterday the whole staff is fantastic. Mary is my hygentis and as always does a great job. I was also impressed with the 3D scanner to give you a panoramic of your teeth. 5 stars all the way

Mary is the most compassionate, gentle dental hygienis person I have ever encountered. No lectures about flossing, no comments about my gums. I was traumatized as a child. I had to go to Samuel Dental Clinic because that's all my parents could afford. They were mean, painful, and had no personality. As an adult I have been to other dental offices and they clean teeth okay but the anxiety was out the roof. West Shore Dental has a mission statement about patient comfort, and although they take Delta Dental it doesn't reimburse the clinician adequately. I pay the difference because it is worth to me and my well being. Delta Dental needs to review its policies and give these clinicians adequate pay so that we as members should not have to choose quality over price.

I love that the office is kept meticulously clean. That takes extra efforts by the whole team and also demonstrates a sense of pride in your workplace. My dental hygienist, Mary is the best. She’s always friendly, nice to talk to all while being awesome at caring for your teeth. Dr. Conte is a refreshingly excellent dentist. He cares what’s best for your overall health and does only the work most necessary at the time. Dr. Conte won’t pressure you into getting unnecessary dental work. However, should you find yourself needing a procedure, you will be comfortable in the beautiful chairs that Dr. Conte has chosen for his patients. I always feel better after I’ve left Dr. Conte’s office, and in my opinion, that’s what makes the difference.

Went in for a cleaning, X-rays and annual exam. As always, my hygienist, Mary, was thorough, professional and pleasant. She explained each procedure and shared her findings during the cleaning. Dr. Johnson came in to look at the X-rays and check my teeth and gums. He, too, was professional and pleasant. With a fantastic staff, all the latest dentistry equipment, and bright, spotlessly clean rooms, I highly recommend West Shore Dental Associates.

Have been a patient of west shore dental since i was a child. I am now 60+ yrs old and very pleased with the service and modern technology available. Just had a cap placed after a root canal and was completed in one visit rather than 2. Very professional and clean environment. Would highly recommend.

Greeted upon arrival by very friendly staff. Dental technician Kelly introduced herself and showed me different areas of the facility before going into the room. She explained all procedures fully. I came in for a consultation and thankfully combined my next appointment into this appt. Dr. Ben was friendly, went through my x-rays with me and explained the entire procedure. I highly recommend this dental practice.

I had a crown separate from a tooth on Monday evening. West Shore was able to schedule me in for a morning appt on short notice. I went there, the cap only needed to be reapplied and I was out of there within 30 minutes. The team there made me a priority and it was painless.

I've been coming to West Shore Dental since childhood and have always had a good experience. Staff, hygienists, and Dr. Have been very knowledgeable and compassionate, even when I haven't been flossing as much as I should.

We love the entire office. The receptionist and other office team are magnificent. Always helpful and informative.The team in general is constantly showing appreciation for us, their patient's.I feel heard when I have a concern.Amanda and Amber both hygienists, do the hand scaling that I prefer.My husband and I have to go 4 times a year for cleanings and truly appreciate the doctors and the entire team.I personally have seen all the doctors here and always feel th3y have my oral health best intrest at heart.

My family and I see Mary (hygienist) and we absolutely love her! Tracy and Maureen work on the administrative side and are wonderful. They make you feel like family. I walk in with a smile and leave with a smile. The upgrades to the office are beautiful and calming while you wait for your appointment. Their hours and location is also a plus.
